Cubanos Pa'lante is leading a federal lawsuit challenging racially gerrymandered congressional and state house districts in Florida. Filed alongside the ACLU of Florida and Engage Miami, we are fighting to ensure fair representation for communities whose voices have been silenced by discriminatory district maps.
We are a community of Cuban Americans moving our gente pa'lante until we are all free. Our mission is to disrupt the status quo by educating, organizing, and mobilizing progressive Cuban Americans.
During the 2020 election cycle we came together to educate our community and help get out the Cuban American vote. Creating online and offline communities and events, we organized tens of thousands of Cuban Americans across the country and helped elect Joe Biden as POTUS. There was so much on the line!
After Biden was elected it was clear progressive Cuban Americans needed a political home to hold elected officials accountable and to advocate for the issues our community cares about. Cubanos Pa'lante was born in December 2020 and quickly began to engage Cuban voices on the ground in Miami, Washington D.C., New York, California and all around the United States.
This is the progressive community of our dreams: con cafecito, croquetas and freedom for all. Cubanos Pa'lante has grown to involve voices from around the world and has been instrumental in supporting mutual aid efforts in Cuba and across the US.

Since 2020, Cubanos Pa'lante has mobilized thousands of Cuban Americans through canvassing, phone banking, community events, and grassroots campaigns across the country — from the streets of Miami to the steps of the White House.
Our current focus is the fight against political gerrymandering in Florida. We are leading a lawsuit alongside the ACLU to ensure fair representation for communities that have been silenced by racially drawn district maps.
